What is Su Swasthya Yojana?

Su-Swasthya Yojana is a scheme for health services of Employees, introduced by the Government of Sikkim in April 2021. The current CM of Sikkim launched this scheme which aims to provide healthcare coverage, focusing on excellent care and providing healthcare services for employees of the Government of Sikkim and their family members

Under the Su-Swasthya, the maximum number of family members added as dependants is up to a maximum of 5, which provides 10 lacs of cover to the family per year, and cashless benefits across top-tier hospitals in India. This Yojana renews every year and new benefits are added as further phases of the Yojana are implemented.

Eligibility Criteria of Su-Swasthya Yojana

These are the following details to be eligible for Su Swasthya Yojana Sikkim:

  • You have to be a permanent resident of Sikkim.
  • You serve as an employee of the Government of Sikkim.
  • Maximum 5 members you can add as depants.
  • Unmarried and unemployed brothers/sisters should be upto 30 years old.
  • Unmarried and unemployed sons/daughters should be upto 30 years old for the son and any age for the daughters.
